One
We believe in the infallibility of the Holy Bible. That simply means that we believe that the Word of God is true and without error in its entirety. Our goal is to try to teach and preach only the Bible and not any man-made creeds or ideas. We believe that even though the Bible was written thousands of years ago, it is still relevant to today. The Word of God does not change. (Hebrews 4:12-13; 2 Timothy 2:15 & 3:16-17)
Two
We are a non-denominational church. We are a part of the “Restoration Movement” which is the attempt to restore the Lord’s Church to be as it is found in the New Testament of the Bible (Acts 2:42). We call ourselves “Christians” as found in Acts 11:25-26.
Five
(5) To be saved by the blood of Jesus Christ we must BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 3:16), we must REPENT of our sins (Luke 13:3), we must CONFESS the name of Jesus (Romans 10:9-10), we must be BAPTIZED into Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins (Acts 2:38) by immersion in water, and we must LIVE FAITHFULLY for Christ (Revelation 2:10).
Six
Our church is financially supported by the tithes and offerings of those who attend the worship services. This is not mandatory, but is up to the discretion of each individual. This is a personal and private matter between each person and God (2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
Seven
Christians have the Holy Spirit living in them. They receive the Holy Spirit when they are baptized into Christ (Acts 2: 38). The Holy Spirit empowers us to live the Christian life. He (the Holy Spirit) helps us to understand the Bible better. He helps to pray more effectively. He helps us to overcome temptation. He helps give us boldness to witness to others for Christ. Without His help we would not be able to live the Christian life on our own.
Eight
We believe that Jesus is coming back to earth someday to gather all the Christians together and take them to Heaven with Him. This includes the dead rising from their graves with a new body. No one, except God, knows when Jesus will return. But Jesus Himself said that He is coming back. What a glorious day that will be! (Matthew 24: 30-44)
